10 M&S items that any Chloe fan will obsess over

I went into M&S yesterday to get a voucher and grab some goodies from the Foodhall (as is required every time you enter a store). Little did I expect to be weaving my way through the store and leaving the premises more Gaby Aghion than Amie Elizabeth. Whether you're splurging or saving, here's the best I could find.

1.The Shearling Jacket

This is my hero piece from both collections and a style that we expect to drop off the radar each year but each year it comes back more luxe and larger than ever before.

2. The Diamond Stitch Jumper

Granted, the M&S version doesn't have the C's printed on it, but if your name doesn't begin with C then you won't be missing any novelty.

3. The Ruffle Shirt

I love the delicate lace detail of the Chloe shirt - a more timely and classy way to invest in the frill collar rather than on a cardigan. The M&S one isn't as romantic in style, but it is made from sustainably sourced Tencel Lyocell which is a natural wood pulp from sustainably managed forests and is made using production processes that are kinder to the environment. If you're spending savvy and eco-conscious then M&S is the way to go.

4. The Navy Shirt

There are 2 Chloe shirts included here because both are equally important in shape and style for the collection, but the M&S one offers the best of both.

5. The Not-Quite-Navy Blazer

We've all seen the pale blues of Summer and all have the midnight shades hanging in our wardrobe. This is a new take on blue and M&S hit the nail on the head in tone.

6. The Leather Midi

I had to include the whole Chloe outfit because the styling is right on point. I cannot express how chic knee-high leather boots are with a midi leather skirt, and it doesn't matter if they are different shades of browns or red, as long as they have warm undertones. I'm pairing mine with a cream cashmere turtle neck and a chunky gold bangle.

7. The Denim Midi

This is a love it or hate it product, and I love it. In winter, style it with thick knits and thigh highs like before, and in summer with a white lace shirt or polka-dot cami.

8. Green Tailoring

Shades of green have been a regular occurrence on the runway and within our instagram feeds in the past year, yet it also seems to be the most underrated. As the season for lime has come and gone, olive remains a good call and hunter green even more so. To stick by the Chloe palette, pair with a skin hugging racer back top in white or nude, and the everlasting staple camel coat.

9. The Side Stripe Pant

Both pairs are easy to wear but I do think the M&S slightly cropped pant is more flattering for most shapes and easier to style with flats or heels. The Chloe ones can be worn with both too, of course, but there's more caution to be had as it's not the easiest to find heels with the right vibe.

10. Hiker Boots

Out of stock, out of stock, out of stock. That's the headline for these boots as they soon found favourite with the fashion pack. Style and practicality united, and with working from home and walking being a new hobby, there's no reason not to. Good mood shoes indeed.

Spend it wisely, style it well.
